ZHONGJIN HELI ENERGY PVT LTD. was established in February 2023. It is a Chinese-funded enterprise registered in Zimbabwe, Africa, specializing in clean energy development, high-end coke production, and cement production. It is dedicated to building a modern industrial system with industrial linkage and resource recycling. The company is located in Hwange, a renowned coal city in northwestern Zimbabwe, and in July of the same year, it launched the construction of three core projects: a coke plant, a power plant, and a cement plant, ushering in a new chapter of green development.         The first and second phases of the ZHONGJIN Hwange Coke and Power Project have a combined annual coke production capacity of 500,000 tons. It has introduced advanced production processes and ten new technologies, capable of producing high-grade 80-300mm large-block metallurgical coke and foundry coke. The coke plant's heat recovery coke oven is designed for a service life of over 30 years, operates under full negative pressure to ensure no leakage, and possesses inherent safety; it has no chemical pollutant emissions and achieves zero wastewater discharge, setting a benchmark for green environmental protection. This process has fundamentally transformed the environmental impact of the traditional coking industry, pioneering a new model for green industrial development in Africa! 
The ZHONGJIN Hwange Power Generation Project is being built in two phases. Phase I is equipped with one 300 tons/hour high-temperature and high-pressure circulating fluidized bed boiler, two 90 tons/hour high-temperature and high-pressure coking waste heat boilers, and one 100MW condensing steam turbine generator unit, which will have a power generation capacity of 100MW upon completion. The company is currently actively preparing for the construction of the 135MW Phase II power generation project. Upon completion of both phases, the total installed capacity will reach 235MW, making a significant contribution to local power supply. 
Adhering to the concept of circular economy, the company has invested in building an environmentally friendly cement grinding station with an annual output of 500,000 tons. It innovatively converts industrial by-products such as fly ash generated during power generation, achieving efficient resource utilization. This project commenced construction in July 2024, introducing advanced process technology and a professional talent team, aiming to create a demonstration base for the green building materials industry in Southern Africa. 
Currently, the project employs over 560 local staff, and upon full operation, it will create 1,000 high-quality local employment opportunities, making a positive contribution to promoting regional economic development. 
To ensure raw material supply, the company has established a strategic partnership with Zambezi Coal Mine Company and commenced mining operations in December 2023. The total area of the ZHONGJIN Zambezi mining area is 1,691 hectares, with estimated shallow coal reserves of 10.47 million tons at a depth of 90 meters, which can support the project's continuous and stable operation for 23 years.
